Portfolio Active Diagnosis System

Description

The project developed the ADISTES ontology (Active Diagnosis based on Semantic Web Technologies for Distributed Embedded Real-Time Systems), aimed at enhancing the Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) processes in real-time systems. This ontology provided a framework to actively compute diagnostic information and decide on recovery actions during run-time, particularly for embedded systems with multiple components including sensors and actuators. The ADISTES ontology serves as a general model that can be adapted and applied to various systems, allowing integration and communication among diverse sensors and actuators. It was designed to be instantiated from heterogeneous sources and supports machine-interpretable information exchange, enabling different components to share and communicate their status effectively.
